Cookie policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This policy explains how Lavanda Ventures Ltd (“Lavanda”, “we” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and the choices you have. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies - such as local storage and pixels - do a comparable job. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, and they let us understand how the site is used so that we can improve it.
The cookies we use
We group measurement on this website into three categories.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the website to work and to remember the choices you make here, including your cookie preferences. They are always on, because the site cannot function properly without them, and they set no analytics or advertising identifiers.
Anonymous site statistics
Vercel Web Analytics counts page visits and activations of links and buttons. We use these aggregate statistics solely to understand and improve this website. Vercel does not use analytics cookies or a persistent cross-site visitor identifier. Click events contain only the page path and a fixed destination label: they contain no pointer coordinates, form values, query strings or fragments, and we do not use them to build an individual visitor trail.
This measurement remains on if you decline the optional analytics below. You can use “object to all measurement” in the notice to stop it. That objection is free, takes effect immediately and is remembered on later visits.
Before you choose, Google Analytics 4 also runs with analytics storage denied. It can send cookieless measurements about pages, referrals, devices and performance, but it does not set or read analytics cookies or use a persistent visitor identifier. Google Signals, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain disabled. Declining optional analytics or objecting to all measurement turns Google Analytics off.
Accepted analytics and session replay
Choosing Accept enables:
- Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, which measures page views and general usage patterns using analytics cookies.
- OpenReplay, hosted by Lavanda at openreplay.lavanda.app, which records page interactions such as clicks and scrolling so that we can see where the experience can be improved. Form input values are ignored, e-mail addresses in page text are obscured, request bodies are not captured, and query strings and fragments are removed from recorded URLs.
OpenReplay is never loaded before acceptance. Declining optional analytics or later withdrawing consent stops session replay and disables Google Analytics completely; anonymous Vercel statistics continue unless you object to all measurement.
Managing your choices
When you first visit the website, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies and session replay. The Cookies link in the footer reopens the same choices at any time. Accepting enables Google Analytics and OpenReplay. Declining keeps only anonymous aggregate statistics. “Object to all measurement” stops every analytics service. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. You can additionally opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out tool.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
